“Blessington Court Square and archway a notorious area for dumping of all sorts..

The bed, mattress and bag arrived on Thursday afternoon at the corner of the arch way as you exit, and the casual dumping of untagged waste against this unoccupied apartment block is a regular occurrence.

We have had to contact DCC in the last two weeks about a bag of approximately 200 chicken legs thrown under the Blessington Court archway (a commercial dump obviously) and an equally massive bag of sausages thrown up near the top archway. We have a lot of take-aways on Dorset St. & we feel DCC has to challenge them to prove what they do with their food waste as these were too large for domestic dumping.

I’m sending several e-mails as we’ve had a spate of dumping of various sort over the last few weeks.

The attached photographs are of one particular house that persistently dumps outside their own door at No 6 Blessington Place. The ironing board etc was dumped this week, But the photo below that was the same household just leaving untagged bags a few weeks before.”
