Malicious fire-setting of tagged, legit bags awaiting collection ..and then the Business got fined! -> Moore Ln, D1. Jul 22 2014

Yet another reason why the bag system isn’t working in Central Dublin. Bags attract anti-social behaviour. It’s a large, hazardous fire that could easily have spread to any nearby buildings or parked vehicles.

The culprit fire-setters are visible at the start of the video. Fire Brigade arrives around 10 minute mark.

With thanks to LOC, who says “We got a litter fine from the litter warden for the rubbish that was set on fire on Monday evening. Its claiming the burnt out rubbish isn’t labelled. It was set on fire after being left out in the appropriate place at the appropriate time labelled. . Another Great example of DCC litter wardens at work. You can download the video from this link. We will be appealing this & highlighting the issues involved.”
