With thanks to SM, who says “I am sending these in from Richmond Cottages Lane, I created quite a number of service requests through the DCC online portal about the area which has got worse over the past few weeks. 1. Some cleaning was done in the area after the request was made, only about half of the materials were removed. 2. The service request was closed without any communication, they have never communicated back to me on any requests. 3. While the cleaning of the area has improved (on the week days, weekends are still a disaster), this area has been excluded from that, it was also not cleaned after the match on Sunday. 4. Went to a local TD about the issue and basically sat through a monologue about the history of the waste debacle and how it is so difficult it is to deal with it, there is little political will to deal with this, we need to annoy the hell out of them to force them to do something.” Indeed the laziness and inertia at both City Mgmt and Political level is deeply frustrating.
