Greyhound ‘recycling’ ! -> St. Vincent St. West, Inchicore.. Mar 20 2013

With thx to AC. “In December Greyhound introduced a charge for green waste bags without warning ( What was previously a free service now costs €9 for 6 bags. Many people are unwilling or unable to pay and so have been putting their recycling waste into regular white bin bags. The photo shows bags which have been out since Monday night. The Greyhound collection was Tuesday. These bags were ignored by Greyhound and are still on the street. It’s only a matter of time before they are strewn across the street.”

Do you know where it’s available to buy recycling bags? I cannot find any.

    • Hi, yes we do know. If it’s Greyhound you’re dealing with, you can get them in certain shops and Post Offices.
There are links to the locations and details down at the bottom of this page.

The outlets often do not have any bags in stock, so recommend phoning around beforehand.
It’s a poor system overall & is definitely contributing to the problem.
But that aside – the above link is what you want.
      Regards, DublinLitterBlog Team.
