Bags are still there, that’s a week now.
Dear Seth, that is a long delay.
As you can see from this link
http://fixmyarea.com/issues/9524-via-dublinlitterblog-com-summerhill
DCC knew about the issue on May 3 and a DCC employee had updated the issue status to ‘New’.
So we posted a follow up comment on the DCC report saying that the resident had gotten back in touch saying the bags were still there, 1 week later.
The response was:

Thank you for using Fix Your Street. This matter was referred to the relevant Dublin City Council Public Domain Officer to arrange to have the items removed.

Best Regards
Cheers,
I have sent in a mail asking about the situation, I saw the issue reported last week alright, it has since attracted illegal dumping (quelle surprise), I will post to you tomorrow.
Anyway, here is the mail I sent;
“I am reporting and instance of Greyhound waste tagged bags that have been refused collection by Greyhound and have been lying on the street for over a week now. They are located outside and around the Taxi driver federation offices at 48 Summerhill Parade.
The bags look legitimate so I can’t see why they have not been collected. As the DCC has contracted these services to this company can you find out why this is the case and have them removed, I would hope that the DCC put some terms and conditions into the contract with Greyhound to provide an adequate service? Maybe not though!
These ignored bags have subsequently attracted illegal dumping of black bags and household items. I would appreciate an update on the situation.”
Thanks,
