17 blackbags dumped overnight..presence of rats..no Wardens or CCTV -> Rutland Pl Nth, D1. Dec 03 2017

With thanks to SD, who says “This morning when I opened my front door I was greeted with 17 unmarked black sacks. Last week my cat caught a rat outside our house and tried to bring it into our home. This has to stop. It is a serious and imminent health hazard. I have complained to DCC on countless occasions and although the rubbish is eventually collected, nothing is being done to deter the offenders in the first place. I have NEVER seen a litter warden in our area and unless there is enforcement of our laws, this WILL NOT stop. I have a catalogue of photographs which I have been collecting for the past 18 months which prove that the situation is getting worse and worse. I am requesting that Dublin City Council Install CCTV cameras at Rutland Place North, Dublin 1 as soon as possible as a first attempt to tackle this ongoing problem. I hope to receive a response at your earliest convenience. ….. Rubbish has not been removed despite reporting to DCC. Contents are now exposed and rats present.
