With thanks to PG, who says “This overflowing bin is in Cecil Avenue, Clontarf beside Marino avenue. It has not been emptied this year. Its used by school kids at lunch time to dispose of lunch wrappings….where do they go now…?”

With thanks to JC, who says “”The usual suspects – the litter bins outside #2 and #27 Gardiner Place. Flowers are a nice touch though…[The burst one is from the strip under the billboards at the Mountjoy Square end – only the white bag was there on Monday but because DCC didn’t remove it there’s now a growing pile].”
With thanks to @lorcanoc, who says “5days in Henry Place , 200 yards from the “Litter wardens”
With thanks to ER, who says “Kelly’s Row again !!! Dublin Council confirmed this area cleaned 2 weeks ago – Worse than ever cant actually tell if they did visit – Have to believe they did but some of the worst rubbish still there like the green burnt bin. This lane a lost cause !!!”. Perhaps time to fence it off, or install CCTV, or take further action? It’s certainly one of the worst blackspots we’re aware of. As well as the dumping, is attracting anti-social activity such as drug activity and fire-setting
With thanks to JC, who says “”Someone in #22 obviously got a job lot of laundry bags… The bag on the railings is outside #1, another persistent offender. The whole street is a mess again this week of tagged, untagged and household junk – if the tags are legit then fair play to at least some residents for making the effort but unfortunately they’re attracting illegal dumping as well.”

With thanks to SD, who says “Fly-tipping into their skip removed and neatly stacked by bemused builders. Reported to DCC repeatedly over past week. “There’s just no conscience,” said one if the builders. In fairness, fifteen tyres, a rug, a chair and a mattress (hidden) is a bit much. Not to mention the bags, which DCC had already removed. That said, unbelievably, the area is much improved on the past!”

that would indicate that the residents genuinely don’t know what they’re supposed to do – maybe english is not their fist language. Doubtless their rogue tenement landlord is zero help, and is in breach of regulations by not providing any waste storage. With thanks to JC for the photo.
With thanks to JC, who says “Just a representative selection from Belvedere Place at 8am Wednesday morning. Mixed tagged, fake-tagged and recycling bags contaminated with food waste.”

With thanks to BH, who says ” filthy, debris and rubbish is always litering the outside, there is grafitti above the shutters, black bags dumped beside the shop and the whole area immediately outside the shop badly needs a good powerwashing…”
With thanks to BH, who says “The whole place is grubby, dirty, with moss and slime on paths and bags all over the place. You can see where people have attempted to throw their litter into the DCC bins but have fallen out. At nearly every bin you can see bags placed beside. People are leaving their bags out more than 24 hours to a few days before collection. The majority of the bags don’t have labels. The reason people feel they can just put their bags everywhere is because they get away with it, they are not being pursued, no fines are issued and they are rarely caught. Other people who may witness this dumping turn a blind eye to it. None of these streets should have bag collections at all, as there is adequate space for wheelie bins.”
